For the fourth consecutive year, I returned to Aristot in the Catalan Pyrenees to document the Trobada Aristot mountain run.
The event brings together runners and the local community across a demanding mountain course surrounded by the landscape of the Pyrenees. From the intensity of the start and the physical challenge of the climbs to the quieter moments along the trails, the day offers a wealth of stories beyond the finish line.
Returning each year brings a familiarity with the event and its people, while still offering something new to capture. This year was another opportunity to document the atmosphere, effort and character of a unique sporting event in the mountains of Catalonia.
