Meet Aida, the Yoga Life Coach - (the chaos to my Husbands order)
Hey there! I'm Aida, a passionate yoga teacher and a dedicated yoga life coach. 🧘♀️ Originally from Spain, my journey has taken me across the globe, living in the UK, the Netherlands, Tanzania, back to the UK, and now happily settled in sunny Spain.
What really makes life exciting is the fact that I bring chaos (the good kind, of course!) to my husband's order. He's all about structure and precision as a photographer, while I thrive in the flow of spontaneity and energy. Together, we create the perfect balance of yin and yang, harmony in our differences.
Follow along for some yoga tips, life inspiration, and a sprinkle of our playful adventures as we navigate this beautiful journey called life!
Welcome to Yin & Reset
Finding Freedom Through Yoga
Can you imagine a twist of fate that changes the course of your life? Well, that's exactly what happened to me in 2017. Let me take you back 10 years ago when my yoga journey began. It was a path to self-discovery, balance, and peace. But little did I know that it would truly deepen after a life-altering event.
In 2017, I suffered a terrible accident that left my right shoulder seriously injured. The doctors painted a bleak picture, doubting I would ever fully recover my mobility. It was a moment of despair and uncertainty. However, in the midst of darkness, a flicker of hope arose—yoga.
Yoga became not just a practice but a lifeline. With each gentle stretch and mindful movement, I started to feel a shift within me. Slowly and steadily, yoga brought back mobility to my injured shoulder. But its healing powers didn't stop there. It also restored my life and confidence.
Today, as I reflect on this journey, I am filled with gratitude for the transformative power of yoga. It goes beyond physical postures; it is a path to resilience, strength, and renewal. My right shoulder may have been mended, but more importantly, my spirit was uplifted. Yoga not only gave me back mobility but also a newfound sense of freedom.
So, if you ever doubt the miracles that yoga can manifest, remember my story. It's a testament to the extraordinary healing capacity that resides within this ancient practice. Trust in the journey, believe in the process, and have faith in the magic of yoga.
Embracing Menopause and Selfdiscovery through Yoga
A couple of years ago, I embarked on a transformative journey as I entered the realm of menopause. It was a period of self-discovery and experimentation where yoga emerged as my steadfast companion, guiding me through the challenges and changes with grace.
Being a nature enthusiast at heart, I delved into the realms of aromatherapy and ayurveda, seeking ancient wisdom to nurture my body and mind. Specializing in Trauma informed yoga and Yin Yoga, I found solace in the gentle yet powerful practice that resonated deeply with my soul.
Two years ago, I became a Yoga Life Coach and started to help people who suffered from traumas and injuries in their lives.
As a fully qualified Yin Yoga teacher, my journey into the world of fascia and connective tissue has profoundly deepened my understanding of the body and how we hold and release tension. Through my foundation Yin Yoga trainning with Elena Sepulveda and the 60-hour Myoyin and Spine AnatomyTeacher Training with Nicky Hadjithoma, I have been able to explore not only the anatomical structures but also the subtle, often overlooked layers of the body where emotions, trauma, and habitual patterns reside.
This deeper dive into fascia has completely transformed the way I approach both my practice and my teaching. Understanding the role of connective tissue in movement, stillness, and sensation has allowed me to design somatic sequences that are more intuitive, therapeutic, and deeply effective. It has enhanced my ability to guide students into greater awareness of their inner landscapes, offering tools that foster release, resilience, and nervous system regulation.
Integrating this knowledge has elevated my somatic training, making it more precise and embodied. Fascia is not just a structural element — it's a sensory, emotional, and energetic network. Learning to work with it mindfully has empowered me to support deeper healing and transformation, both on and off the mat.
This learning has also inspired a new path: I am now embarked on a journey to work with people living with chronic illness and oncology patients. I believe that somatic and fascia-informed practices can offer powerful support — not just physically, but emotionally and energetically — in times of deep vulnerability and healing.
My aim is to hold space with compassion, presence, and a grounded understanding of the body's innate wisdom.

Yin is the stable, unmoving, hidden aspect of an object. Yang is the changing, moving, revealing aspect of an object. Our Yoga practice should be alive and adaptable to our needs as we go through the seasons of our lives. – “Paul Grilley”.
