Yin Yoga

It is a therapeutic method that, restores your body’s balance. Its practice provides the appropriate flexibility to our structures and joints, reducing tension and returning vitality to our body.

In this class we will explore different approaches within Yin yoga, myofascial exercises, yoga postures and movements that respect the body's natural configuration and, unlike other therapies, it does not deceive it with fleeting sensations of relaxation, nor abuse it with impossible positions that do not obey the configuration of our anatomy and which, in some cases, are clearly harmful to our health. This type of yoga is focused on the function of the pose more than the aesthetics of the pose. This class is slow paced, also called the meditative yoga. We will calm our nervous system and promote flexibility in our joints and ligaments.

In addition, this therapy allows us to experiment and investigate with our body, discover it and feel it, listen to it and pamper it, with the aim of understanding it and, in this way, being able to make it our own original harmony. The practice of these exercises, as a pedagogical method, teaches us to recognise the postures and habits that we perform daily that harm us and offers us the necessary information to replace them with healthier ones that increase our well-being.

We will become more aware of our body and we will connect with our inner system, calming the nervous system and promoting a general state of wellbeing. We become the observer rather the doer.
